sunshine and manicures
We have had some wonderful weather the last few days, and River, Lila, and I have been soaking it up. I love the way River smells at the end of a long day of playing - like sand, chocolate, and little boy sweat.
I painted my nails on Wednesday and River asked if I would do his too. Here he is, modeling the lovely shade of blue we have on our fingers at the moment.

Why does Lila have a Mohawk?
It's pretty awesome. The top seems to be growing faster than the other parts, plus she wears away the hair on the sides and back where her head touches her bed.
