he must run on batteries
I don't know if it's because of teething pain, his need to nurse to sleep, or his fear of the clowns (see below), but River has decided that he can't sleep more than two hours at a time and certainly no later than 6am.

He must be excited because he knows his grandmas and grandpa are coming soon. River, listen to your grandma and be nice to your daddy and mommy. They need some sleep, baby.

It's totally my fault. Feeding him to sleep seemed so easy, so harmless. Now I'm regretting it because he seems to think boob=sleep. Not a cool thing at 12am (and 2am and 4am and 6am...)
We're trying to break him of the habit.
